Beloved wife of John Vanden Elzen, her husband of 61 years. Catherine and John were married on May 2, 1949 in Helmond, the Netherlands, and soon immigrated to Canada. They settled on their farm in Mt Brydges after a number of years of share growing in the Simcoe and Barrie areas. They proudly celebrated 61 years of married life last May surrounded by their greatest accomplishments: their children and grandchildren. Friends may call at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME, Mt Brydges on Monday, October 25th, 2010 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm with prayers at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Tuesday from Sacred Heart Parish, Delaware commencing at 11:00am with Father Matthew Bedard officiating. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mt Brydges.
